"Let the Blood Truly Hit the Floor"

Films: The Flesh Eaters (1964)

Alias: None

Type: Man-Made

Location: Ocean

Height/Weight: First that of a microbe, that of an oil rig when combined.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: What better way to show cinema that the censors are worthless than to make a movie about microscopic little beasties that eat you violently from the inside? It's quite genius in retrospect.

History: All you need to know about these Whoville-sized monsters is that they were created by Nazis. Do we really need to say anything more? Anyway, they were meant to be the ultimate bioweapon, and judging by how they did when they escaped to a deserted island's coastline, they were too good at their jobs...

Notable Kills: Jesus Christ, the way these things slowly and painfully eat away at people from the inside. Barely a detail is left out...

Final Fate: After the Flesh Eaters combine into a hideous giant, a brave soul goes up to it, and injects a week's worth of hemoglobin into it, causing it to explode.

Powers/Abilities: The Flesh Eaters grow stronger with electricity, and can combine into a larger mass if need be.

Weakness: Hemoglobin, and lots of it.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-We outta be thankful these things aren't invulnerable. These visceral beasts with bottomless stomachs make any body of water basically uninhabitable, and they WILL make your death a long, slow, painful one.

Trivia: -This is often considered the first true gorefest movie, and for good reason.

-This film would have been released earlier, but midway through production, a hurricane destroyed the set, setting some things way back.

Gore was REALLY going to become a mainstay after this.
Wait. Where did the instant blood COME from?!
No voices. No sound. Only pain.
